I like the FAKE reviews made by the company. Really lame. Check out my real review of this company below, also listed under the Hercules Inc. (same company) section in Yelp. - yelp.com/biz/hercules-moā¦ PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!! Do NOT use this company to move. If I could give them 0 stars, I ...Morewould. When I got a job across the country, I was very excited for the move. I had a difficult time finding a company in the NYC area that would make the trip without asking for my first born. The most reasonable prices I could find was with the PODS company and similar service offered by U-Haul...BUT they would not deliver the PODS to our area (surprise, surprise. I am convinced there is a conspiracy to make it impossible to leave NYC). The manager spoke to my fiancĆ©e on the phone and told him they would be able to do the move for a (still pretty steep) price and we should receive our stuff anywhere from 1 week to 3 weeks. The exact quote from the e-mail he sent my fiancĆ©e was "The delivery will be as quick as it is possible. We always venture to be in the week to 3 weeks". Still a long wait but I had to figure something out as my job was being held for me. Long story short, we called numerous times to check in and see if our stuff was en route and when it would arrive (it took us less than a week to get here) and no one would answer, or dispatch was unavailable, or no one would call us back. We wound up waiting a full month for our possessions. I had to go and buy new work-appropriate clothes for my new job because my things still weren't here. We sat in an empty apartment for a month and they couldn't even pick up the phone or call us with an update. $3000 later, I finally got my things and come to find that one of the boxes was missing. This was not worth the money or the constant headaches. It pains me to think that I gave these people my HARD EARNED money to do a crappy job. The sad thing is that the movers who came to get everything were friendly, efficient, and quick. But the structure of how they do business is poorly planned. They advertise on their website that they make trips out West once a week. LIES! They gave me a whole BS story about it being the "moving season" and that it was hard to find drivers going that way. Then they used the location I moved to as an excuse...then it was that we needed them to do the job "last minute". One excuse after another. It was a nightmare that continues to haunt me. When I think about it my blood boils.

This is the moving company to avoid at all costs, in a major local NYC move their truck broke down ,and we had to wait for the repair to finish the move. Instead of delivery they towed the truck back to their hub. We waited days for delivery and when they did deliver to us there was furniture mi ...Moressing and a valuable antique smashed literally to pieces. They said "they got it that way", it was a recently restored French Art Deco piece- we paid the drivers in cash and had no recourse . The boss was an arrogant S.O.B , didn't offer any compensation let alone an apology-I am in the position to give them frequent business throughout the year for my company, but NEVER AGAIN
