Terrible service. Delivery from New York to Brazil was estimated to take three months. Six months later and belongings have still not arrived due to Confianca's admitted error to properly prepare paperwork for customs clearance. All the while Confianca has been unresponsive.
Sean, It's important to every team on both sides of the move, that you feel accommodated and have access to the status of your belongings. I moved from the states to brazil for work this past year. Service on the USA side is decent. professional movers / did a good job packing everything up and was timely. i felt they were very expensive but i give them 3 stars on the USA part of the transaction (the movers were 4 stars but the cus ...Moretomer service bring them down to 3 stars). The big problem problem is on the brazilian side when it arrives as they "outsource" this process (customs clearance / wharehousing / trucking to your home from the entry port) to 3rd parties which leave A LOT to be desired. My container arrived in Brazil in January and now April and still waiting for the final truck to arrive at my home (they do not bring all your items in one truck - they have the option to put it in as many trucks as they want (read the contract carefully) and so they deliver some on this date and weeks later they deliver more. Impossible to reach anybody on the brazilian side (they do not give you their cell phones and the office lines is only run by secretaries who say "will get back to you with a update" and never do. When you ask the USA office to assist (as that is who you think you have contracted your business too) they pretty much send you back down to the 3rd party companies that they outsourced and never call you back either. Not a great experience and i would look at other options especially their cost is not cheap compared to others and i was really hoping the extra money would make the process much smoother (which it did not). USA side 3 stars / Brazil side 1 star - average 2 stars.

The delivery of my furniture was a result of nightmare. The moves unwrapped my dresses on the the sidewalk after the dresser was already delivered into the apartment. Unwrapping and maneuvering the dresser on thes concrete sidewalk caused terrible scratches and slide corner off partially, see pictures. One of the movers was trying to hide the broken glass top (see picture) extension of the dinning table and wanted to remove the evidence of the broken glass top by placing it back to the truck. I had to tell the warehouse manager to return the broken glass back to my apartmen, "but it's trush" was his answer. My contract says assembling of furniture, they refusses to assemble my free standing closet. Why would a moving company dissembled a wardrobe on pick up day if you they don't assemble on the day of delivery? They claim they did an investigation an concluded that they did an amazing job. Basically, I was told that everything was my mistake by have the movers do task that they shouldn't do, like assemble furniture t the wall (which didn't happen), unpacking boxes (which didn't happen), not to complain when they try to over charging me or bringing two furnished apartment into one apartment, seriously? Well, the good news is that my new apartment is much bigger then two apartment combined. Do your self a favor to do more research which moving company to hire, so you don't have to suffer as I did and still do. Thank you for reading. Best, Antonio.
