Uhaul is the worst-do NOT use them. They call at 10 pm the night before to give you a different size truck (smaller with no reduction in the price) and different pick up and drop off locations than the ones you "reserved." Customer "service" is useless. It was a nightmare move

They are an awful company - Your stuff may get flooded and it will be 'your' fault for not getting insurance. In addition they will charge you late fees at every chance they get.

I rented a truck from them and was in such a hurry that I forgot to check the odometer when I returned the vehicle i was informed that I drove 27.5 miles. I didn't even drive 5 miles total. Next time they will not be so lucky.

We are deeply effected by Covid-19. We called to explain to the manager, Charlynette, that our late fees (which she agreed to waive in a prior conversation) needed to be amended. She immediately turned nasty saying she never said that and the added fees would remain. She stated U-Haul was doing ...More nothing further to help those effected by Covid 19. Meanwhile, we are in NYC and aren't even in phase 1. She told my husband "doesn't even understand what he's talking about" and that U-Haul is an essential service. We asked to speak to someone else. She replied in a nasty tone "Call anyone you want. They'll just send the call to me." Meanwhile, Charlynette is a manager and U-Haul is not a franchise. Customer service has said U-Haul leaves these decisions to their manager's discretion. So her claim that "U-Haul isn't doing anything further" is incorrect. The decision resides with her. Apparently, Uhaul is ok with this disgrace passing as customer service. This woman's name is on many reviews around the internet, few of them positive.
