Under new management and you can tell the property is not getting better. I transferred to a new unit and while taking my stuff to over the past few weeks I can tell that there are a bunch of problems with maintenece. Cleary, the gutters on the left side of the whole complex are in disrepair, cl ...Moreogged to the point that multiple units have been affected and many people are moving out as a result of the water damage. Then while finishing up removing all my stuff from my old unit I saw one of their employees taking my stuff to their front office. When I approached him about this, he told me he had thrown my stuff out in the dumpster.... ????. After helping remove it from he dumpster, he walked away. Didn't even help bring it to my unit and wouldn't you know some stuff is broken and/or missing. In short, terrible service & terrible maintenece all for highly inflated prices. Can't get any worse from here.

I have been a client here f ...Moreor over ten years. First of all, you get MANY rent increases and the contract has no limitations on what amounts they can be OR how often. In fairness, they have reduced (never waived) some of my MANY increases over the years. So recently I shopped around to other storage places in Hoboken and they are all cheaper for my size than what I pay here. Then I checked the extra space online site and I see new customers can get the same size unit as mine for $100 less than I pay per month. So, I called the head office to deal with a district manager (bc the onsite manager, Alba is absolutely useless). So, as I guessed, they wouldn't do the right thing and drop my rate by $100 or even half that to treat a ten year client the same as a brand new client. not surprised. So, I told them I made a reservation under my husbands name and he would rent a new unit and I'd move ALL my stuff into it. Guess what ?? They said they would not let my husband rent a unit, even though he is new customer. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? They canceled the online res we had set up.. which I am fairly sure is a better business bureau issue, which is what I will be filing next. So, do yourself a favor. Don't rent here. If they treat a ten year client this way, And intentionally pick and chose who they allow to have their online offers what will they do to you ?

I had a very pleasant booking with John. Wonderful customer service. He explained everything from price to rental promotions and additional taxes and fees. The units were easy to access and the place was nice and clean.

Moved our home into Extra Space Storage in December paying $448 a month. Because we're on a month to month they can raise prices whenever. 4 months later they increased prices 20%!! Our new bill is $533 a month. Bait and switch, would not recommend.

BS!! You jacked up prices 20% knowing full well there's nothing I can do except urge other people DO NOT fall for bait and switch. They start you off low price (reason we chose this facility) then jack up price. Your reasoning is flawed! There was no increase in minimum wage, you do not have t ...Moreo worry about food costs, fuel costs, or rent you and the property. You're just being greedy. Highly urge everyone to choose any other storage unit while this one seems the most economical they will jack up your prices within three months.
