Wow. This place is one of the few truly competent businesses out there. Very well run, spotlessly clean, totally safe. John the manager is a total no-nonsense straight-talkin' type of guy. I no longer need this storage space but I am actually kind of sad to leave. Just a total no-hassle exp ...Moreerience for the last 3+ years. Their shipping container storage system works great. 24 hour drive-up access is a major plus. It also is nice that they are next door to Building Resources.

John in the office is super helpful and accommodating. I needed to help a friend move her apartment furniture while she was out of the country. American Storages provide locks, holds the keys with the 24/7 security and allow authorized people access 24/7. It makes sharing the until move in / mov ...Moree out super easy if that's something you need. Located close to the city and Golden Bay Movers park their trucks in the lot so if you need movers you can use them and cut down on transit time. Docked one start because they don't use email to send or receive documents. They said their computers aren't hooked up to the net for security reasons which struck me as oddly paranoid.

Not even 30 day notice to cancel. I rented a storage space for my bus here for almost 3 years. Received a call yesterday that they would not accept March's payment and I needed to be vacated by end of February. I called to ask for 30 days and received hostility and was told "this isn't housin ...Moreg". I'm off to check what my lease agreement states. So you can rent here but I guess make sure to call in anytime you are out of town on vacation in case they decide to remodel and throw you out with 15 days notice. (nice dark cloud for your mental feng shui)

We have been using American Storage for a bit over a year now, and I feel compelled to write a review because we've had nothing but the best experience here. John initially set us up, and he is great! Not sure if he's back yet, but everyone else in the office is very nice too. The place is very ...Moreclean and well maintained and, really, the help we get there is fantastic. In our search for a storage place, we've looked at a few other places, including the one off of 7th St in Portrero, but that place does not even come close to this one. We are huge fans!

Very convenient. Easy on/off freeway. My stuff was there for three years. My stuff was safe for three years. Plus they have a nice clean restroom. They also have a friendly staff.
