Hello Dee, We offer a settlement agreement such as the one you're describing once a tenant has become seriously delinquent on their account and close to auction. Auctioning a storage unit is always our last resort, and such a settlement allows a tenant to close their account in goodstanding with ...Moreout paying the full amount. This also allows the tenant to retain the items they were storing, but we do require a same-day move out. We also make every effort to communicate with each tenant via email and phone long before an account becomes seriously delinquent. StorageMart also maintains a professional pest control service with monthly preventative care and we also complete a maintenance regimen 5 times per week. These measures help us keep a clean storage facility, and prevent pests. This kind of behind-the-scene care probably isn't seen by our tenants very often, so we're going to start sharing more about the many ways we work to maintain a clean and friendly storage space.
