Upon 1st renting a space... I was given an x-large room. Knowing fully well I couldn't afford it, they attempted to railroad me with the cost of said "x-large" room. Fine! I was downsized to a $60+ room. Only to be bamboozled at a later date. Ex. Went in one day with $50 to pay past-due bill, w ...Moreas told I would have to take my stuff out the same day. Called 1 1/2 weeks later was told $180 would allow me to remove my stuff. Nothing less! I agree with a few of the reviews stating rodent issues, and being better off putting your stuff on the street corner. Thieves running a legitimate wallet vacuuming scam.

I rented from them about a month ago and i must say the process was really easy. The Asst. Manager, Dolores, really make you feel like family. I told her i was thinking about a bigger unit and instead of just saying yes and having me pay the difference she suggested that we wait until the curre ...Morent month was up and then get the new bigger unit and plus she would give the 99% discount for the new unit. Most places would have just let you get the bigger unit and wouldn't give the discount again. I highly recommend this storage place.

John, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Cleanliness and keeping pests at bay are very important to us, but it sounds like we dropped the ball here. We'll investigate this and get everything under control.

Although the gentlemen in the front desk named David was courteous and very helpful when I first got the storage unit, the place is absolutely disgusting. I had to place a few things in storage because I recently moved. It was a few months since I put the things in storage. When I went to go ch ...Moreeck on the stuff in the storage unit, the place was literally filled rat shit! I'm not exaggerating when I say there was at least 4-5 inches of rat shit piled up everywhere, on boxes, plastic bins, a table I have. I also heard mice moving around while actually in the storage. This place is absolutely atrocious. It smells disgusting, guy downstairs wasn't much help when I told him of the rat infestation. DO NOT PUT YOUR STUFF THERE!

I have stored my belongings at this Storage Mart for the past 7 years and have never had a problem. When I moved into Manhattan, I did my research and this place is a lot more affordable than Manhattan Mini Storage and is clean, climate controlled, has video surveillance and is open seven days ...Moreweek and is easy to access from the street. The managers are super friendly and helpful and I would recommend it to anybody who asked.
