Rented a room from storage america in 2010 to declutter the house. Seemed ok at first, but as the weather got warmer noticed that their climate control was poor at best. Place had a strong smell of mold. Roach traps everywhere, and then to top it off, they advertised one month free with a thre ...Moree month rental. Well, they charged my credit card for three months and when I inquired about the one month free just got the run around from the manger Ron. They never did credit me, currently disputing it with my credit card bank. In short, stay away. Plenty of storage places to choose from and this one is a dump. You get what you pay for...

Do not use the place!!!!! The worst customer service and support Every month they raise the rates. They promise to look into it but that is all a bunch of lies. They do not The roof leaks. Many of things I had in storage are ruined because they got wet I was locked out of my unit a week bef ...Moreore the end of the month that was paid for and they refuse to reimburse me. Don't use them!!!!! One month later, and still no word on a refund. Next step - small claims court

I've had my stuff at this storage place for the past five years, and I can attest to the professional treatment I have received from the staff, and the overall cleanliness of the place. No facility is going to be 100% perfect, but this one comes close. While the manager is a bit grumpy, the guy ...More who is the Asst. Manager is pleasant and really helpful. I have never - not once in five years - seen a bug or a rodent, or even any traps, although I'm sure like every place, they must have them (or an exterminator.) All I'm saying is that I've had a really good experience, and am not sure what happened with those other two reviewers. My stuff has not ever gotten wet and certainly not moldy. The temperature control seems appropriate for the season. Having used other storage places nearby, this is the one where I have had the most positive experience. Sounds strange to say I look forward to going to my storage locker every month or so, but I do!
