Stop and Stor -Starrett City (Open Now)
This is the worst experience I have had in using a self store unit - DO NOT RENT HERE !!!. On first impression it seems like a clean place with a semi-professional staff. However, the staff charged me for a month that was supposedly free; refused to provide invoices to back up the fees that they ...More were charging, even after I agreed to pay the 1 $ fee that they charged to do so; refused to take a phone payment even though they had indicated that they would do so when I rented with them initially; made false allegations to their management when I complained to the on site manager about their business practices; and were generally obnoxious. There must be other facilities that you can use in the area - AVOID THIS ONE !!!

I stay away from Stop and Store company that offers a number of storage locations around NYC. The main problems: not convenient hours, not friendly staff and most important there is no customer support line that is open late or on holidays. The absolute worst place ever. The manager Margaret is nasty and talks to you like your a child. She us incompetent, lies and is aggressive. The entire experience helping my mom get her stuff out after 9 years was appalling. She refused to let us speak to her boss so I found the district m ...Moreanagers number online and called him. He fixed the problem but she made our last day of moving a living hell. She's petty and nasty.
No problems at all, easy to get to n access is very good Staff very professional ... Depending on the day and time I can get in out with no problems at all...
