We needed a moving company on short notice, and Robb & Messer came through beautifully. They worked smoothly around the regulations set by the property management company, had a friendly, competent & efficient team on site at the right time and moved everything in the 2-bedroom apartment very ra ...Morepidly. The whole process was done well under schedule, and the final bill came in significantly under the proposed quote. And: not a single item got broken or damaged. Would highly recommend.

My feelings about this are mixed. At the heart of this grumpy review is my frustration over losing a statue and my AirPods. Despite my low review, the head mover, Pete, was wonderful! He really cared about every detail, and was a clever problem solver. He even surprised me at my new home by ha ...Moreving the soap from my old house ready before he, and his team, unpacked anything else. Great guy! Bonus: he had a great personality, and a sense of humor! The reason for the two stars is what the packers lost; we paid quite a bit up front and tipped well, yet, this still happened. This review will focus on the two most important things lost. I didn't really care that some of the packers where we moved from were faded, and wrapped things...strangely, but it was disappointing what they messed up. I mean, if you're messed up enough to wrap a fork in five layers of tissue, surely you won't destroy/lose anything important...right...right? NOPE. I was so bummed that they lost/threw away a statue from my grandmother. It was displayed prominently in my living room, yet it just disappeared when they packed things. Gramma has passed, and had gotten this from our family's country of origin. It was a hand painted, carved, lovely piece of art. One of a kind, and now lost forever. A part of me hopes they just stole it, so someone will appreciate it. I'm also somewhat annoyed how my AirPods, charging on the kitchen counter, just disappeared. Good thing I didn't have any fun drugs to leave in the medicine cabinet!

When my friend who lived in an apartment at a retirement community recently passed away I needed to have all her belongings moved out and brought to my home. I am very impressed with what a wonderful job they did in meticulously packing all her many breakables! I couldn't believe how well packed everything was! They were very polite, careful, and efficient. The price was also very reasonable. I would highly recommend this moving company to everyone! Susan B

Truly the best moving experience I have ever had (and I have made close to 10 moves in the last 15 years!). From the first virtual call with Dave Robb (the owner) he was so nice and easy to communicate with. Lots of moving companies have all these hidden fees and we were able to come up with one ...More rate that never changed throughout. Then there was moving day (we were moving from SF to SD). The movers, especially Anthony A. from up north, was so diligent, organized, fast and efficient. He was also just an all around great guy! They finished a three bedroom house in about 5 hours, which was amazing timing (granted we did box everything beforehand). Then the dispatchers were in constant contact with us and delivered all our furniture to SD two days later. The team from southern California was just as amazing and efficient. Fabian, their team leader for this job, was SO wonderful to work and communicate with. He definitely had to play Tetris as a kid because he somehow fit everything into our storage unit. I thought it was going to be a lost cause, but he came through. I will ONLY work with them in the future. Not one issue! What's more, they were actually the most affordable! They're fair and honest and it's actually hard to come across that these days. Recommend a million times over and while I hope not to move for a very long time, they will be the ones to do the job!!

I've used R&M for two moves and storage between and they've been terrific throughout. The moves included mixing furniture from 2 locations (including fragile antiques) in storage and packing, moving and unpacking contents of a large house. The team was great. Dave Robb is easy to work with on ...More a quote and got back to me quickly each time. Ron led the moving team. They worked hard, packed carefully and had great attitudes. Moving is stressful but working with R&M ensured that this part was not.
