We selected Ridgewood Closets over larger chain business to support the local area, however we were disappointed in the result. We contracted Ridgewood Closets to install a glass shower door into new construction, and the communication was not great leading to the installation. We had to reach o ...Moreut a few times to schedule the installation after the order was placed and deposit delivered, and it appeared that they did not know about the order. After digging though previous email, and a couple days, the order was found and the door arrived about 10 days ago. If we didn't call, we are not sure when we would have scheduled the installation. The communication part up front was a bit frustrating, but not the main issue. When the installer arrived, we offered some extra tiles to practice drilling on, as they are glass tiles where the installation points are on one side. He replied that "he does this all the time and does not need them". OK, fine, understood. Well the installer cracked both tiles on one side of the installation point and didn't say a word about it and left. When we returned a few days later, we noticed it and inquired with Ridgewood Closets. The reply we received was asking for a picture, however the impression was given to us that they did not believe the installer did it. Well after sending the photos, we did not hear anything back for 13 days after we inquired via email and phone. The response was that an installer was going to advise on how to cover it up. That was Oct 2, 2017, it's now Nov 20, 2017, and they have been ignoring all contact. So stay away from this company, as the communications is poor and the willingness to help is just not there. We never asked for any financial compensation or anything like that, just options to hide it or what happened. I would not recommend using them for any work at this time.

Had 6 closets done a few years back, now I needed to reconfigure one of them so I called to see about some changes. That was weeks ago, no call back, no email, nothing... zero customer service from these guys. Be aware, they like to get you in, but once the job is done, you're on your own.
We had a great experience with Ridgewood Closets. For our new apartment, we worked with Peter to do both our bedroom closets, a wall unit and a kitchen pantry. He was very responsive and even told us what we didn't need which saved us money. The prices are extremely fair and much better than ...Morethe larger closet companies. They also have an amazing turnaround time - we were hoping to get our closets done before we moved in and Peter was able to make that happen which made unpacking so much smoother. Overall, we could not be happier - we love the closets and would highly recommend working with Ridgewood closets in the future!
We are new homeowners who recently moved to Ridgewood and had a very good experience with Peter at Ridgewood closets. He responded promptly to our initial inquiry, came up with no-fuss design within a week or two, and installation was smooth and easy. Would definitely recommend.
The guys were great! They did a fantastic on my closets and they were very courteous! Highly recommend!!
