Let me make this clear, this review is SOLELY FOR THE PEOPLE THAT WORK THERE!! NOT THE FACILITY OR CORPORATION. In particular, Jeffrey, Genisha and the DM, Mohammed. I was a customer at this Public Storage for 2 long years. Their customer service reps were ALWAYS courteous and very helpful no ma ...Moretter what my situation was. Especially Genisha when I was finally able to move out, she was AWESOME. Public Storage Corporate though, is COMPLETE RIP OFF. Horrible hours, they raised the rent like 3 times in two years, the last time, without notice. Late fees were also exorbitant and unreasonable, especially since their hours only accommodate people who DON'T WORK (9-5, what's the point??) LOVE the people though, if not for them, I don't know how I would have endured 2 LONG, EXPENSIVE years there. They were always willing to work with me and let me know if "auction time" was coming. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MANHATTAN MINI STORAGE (Varick Street) They have a highly civilized 24 hour access plan, vending machines in case you need them, and also have wonderful people.

Lost my keys and the staff threw them away to the dumpster by mistake. Mikiella (one of the staff girls) dived into the dumpster and open all the nasty trash bags until she found them. In the middle of the winter. I was blown away by the fact that she volunteered to do that. Best costumer servi ...Morece I've ever come across.

Worst storage facility I've ever had. Hours are terrible and they still show up late to work so you often have to wait 15-30 minutes after they are scheduled to open to get into the building. The carts are all broken or missing. Now someone has tampered with our lock and we can't get into our ...More unit. First they told us to buy our own bolt cutters to get in. When we told them how ridiculous that is considering that they made us buy their lock and then someone tampered with it, they told us they needed to call the manager and he would call us. That was 5 days ago.

I am renting a unit for the second time. I am very happy with The Brush Avenue facility. The employees are Very Nice and Helpful. The facility is Safe and Clean. The hours are great. Every time I have called I had no problem. Inside is Clean, Fresh and Well Lit. I would definitely recommend it. ...MoreI didn't buy them as I used plastic totes but the prices on their boxes seemed fair.

I won't make an outright accusation, but look at the reviews on yelp and google. They are all absolutely glowing reviews, and they all speak about how friendly and loving the customer service is, speaks highly about specific people at Public Storage. Now if you look at reviews in general, you w ...Moreould know that those type of reviews are highly unlikely. Another interesting thing is most reviewers have brand new accounts. Brand new, registered just to review public storage.
