I have had a storage unit here for 4 years. They raise my rent every 3 months $20 more dollars. I am in a 5×10 unit which was $80 when I moved in and am now being charged $235 a month. Then I went the other morning the gate was open no one in the office and they had my unit double locked. I do ...Moreauto pay. My unit was paid. They were not there to assist. The gate closed and I was stuck inside until 12:30 when the manager finally came back from some off sight meeting. Absolutely ridiculous! 3 hours I was trapped with my car and my daughter inside. When an older gentleman came in the front gate his code wouldn't work to get out so he was stuck with me for 2 hours. If I didn't have so much stuff there I would change storage facilities. I will soon. They won't keep getting my money. All the people in the units shooting up drugs and smoking and stealing the only 2 carts that place has to do nothing with. Crazy

Bobby set me up. Fast, fair priced, and clean. Would recommend especially if you want to save a few $$$ vs driving a couple of blocks

Your basic Storage In the city of San Francisco storage space, or any kind of space for that matter, is hard to find. Public Storage is one of the few places where you can find small or large storage space within the city limits. We have had some of our stuff stored here for almost three years ...More now and it has worked just fine for us. The only two issues that we have faced here are that parking space is very limited (understandable for San Francisco), and that the storage spaces do not have lighting. We have figured out when the less busy times are so we do not have to deal with parking. As for the lighting issue, we bought a battery operated lamp that we leave in the storage for when we need it.

Would rate negative stars if I could because this place IS HORRIBLE. I had booked a unit here and had called them 3 times to let them know that when I arrived for the first time, it would be with movers and a truck holding my one bedroom belongings. Michael and Sully (the manager of this branch, ...More but not sure this is his name as the voicemails always sounded garbled) assured me this would be fine and asked for a time I would be there. I let them know I would be there at a specific time, but on the day I showed up at that time, no one was there. I pay the movers by the hour, so you can imagine how hopeless, stressed, and angry I was that no one was there when they said they would be. I looked to find any kind of email, phone number, left messages, and did anything I could to try and find a human being there at the facility, but nothing worked. After 45 min, I threw in the towel and called a different nearby storage facility (Security Storage) to reserve an unfortunately smaller and more expensive unit because this Public Storage had failed me. I ultimately ended up at the Public Storage on Van Ness where there were people actually working there. Al helped me out and sorted this whole mess for me, but I had to pay the movers an additional $150 for the hour that 190 10th street Public Storage made me burn trying to locate a human being. It's hard not to cuss this location out in this review, but all I can say is stay away from this place. Not reliable, not a safe location, and extremely unhelpful. I left a message that day on the 10th street message machine and STILL haven't heard back from either Michael or Sully. Bad service all around.
