Very professional moving services. Timely arrival, careful and quick packaging and very organized. Took care not to dirty the house or scratch the floors. Covid compliant with masks. Everyone was cheerful and eager to help. Highly recommend.

UPDATE: I am updating my previous 2-star review (below average) to a 4-star review (above average). I never expected the company to reach out to me to get the full story on my experience and try to make things right. The customer service agent went beyond my expectations to make things right ...Morefor me. It was very apparent that she, as a representative of the company, really cared about what kind of changes can be made to improve the experience for all customers.

I used NorthStar moving for my recent move from CA to NYC. I had very positive experiences with the cost estimator and all the customer service folks. A crew of 5 people came to pick up my stuff in CA, and everyone was professional, thorough, and careful. My possessions made it to NY in 10 da ...Moreys, which was amazing. However, the team (of only 2 people!) that dropped off my stuff was highly unprofessional - they refused to wear masks, damaged some of my plastic bins and an expensive bookshelf while unloading the van, and picked fights with my new neighbors for no reason. When I provided this feedback to NorthStar, the COO personally called me back to discuss my situation. She was extremely empathetic and genuinely wanted to hear details of my negative interaction with the NY crew. She immediately provided a small refund on my move, and said she will use my feedback for future improvements. Given NorthStar's commitment to make things right, I highly recommend their services to others!

John and his team were prompt, fast, and super communicative. They were able to pick up my packing slack after a family emergency and make moving day go smoothly.
