My motorcycle had an intermittent electrical problem that other mechanics weren't able to diagnose. Lucy spent a lot of extra time and was able to diagnose what was going on with my bike and explained the mechanism of failure. I've taken classes with her at moto guild before, so I'm really stoke ...Mored that she has her own place. Her prices were very fair and she's easy to work with. Would highly recommend.

I just received an email from Lucy (Saturday, September 4, 2021) to check into the services she provided: "Just following up with you about the lights and shifter on the R1200R. Still on, still shifting? Feel free to get with me if you have any questions or concerns." WHO DOES THAT THESE DAYS? ...More NO doctor for sure. NOBODY!! Literally, NOBODY. I could stop the review right now, but I will give the readers a little more background. Lucy worked on the Denali lights for my BMW as they had been on and off since installed. She took the time to look everything up (including exchanges of emails between myself and Denali). Charged me for 1/2 hour and fixed the problem (so far, AMEM). The shifter I just popped in and she fixed immediately. No charge. I met Lucy at the space she currently occupies when it was Dubbelju and Wolfgang was closing the business. In addition, she came recommended by my neighbor. I've lived in the City for about 30 years and I've had motorcycles for about the same time. My first and favorite shops "back in the day" were Scuderia West and Werkstatt. Scuderia unfortunately changed ownership a few years back and slowly kept going down and more expensive. Werkstatt closed. Nowadays I am a fan of Mario (service manager), Thames (pretty much runs the show), and Joey (sales) at BMW SF. My other "home" is at Tokyomoto with Shawn (owner) and Malcom (associate). Now, given the professionalism, work ethic, fair prices, and ease to work with, Lucy and Moto Lucia have earned my loyalty too -- I already have an appt for a tune up and installs on my Aprilia Tuono -- I am glad I met Lucy.
Thank you soooo much! I bought this 2004 Yamaha TW from a dealer (will remain nameless) in the Bay. Only had 750 miles on it.. Would jerk when I would ride it and took fOrever to start/warm up then even crap out at a light. I knew if anyone would find something wrong with it, Lucy would, and she ...More diD Carb was shut tight so was running super lean (surprised it was even running at all). She also installed my snazzy DC pipe. Runs and sounds super smooth. Thanks so much. bad ass :)
My battery got stolen and I urgently needed a replacement. Very responsive, competent, and friendly service and good price. I particularly appreciated that Lucia quickly doubled checked on the internet the replacement battery would work for my brand/model.
