This company has many locations so I just picked one to write the review. Although, the one I used was in LI...I think but I live in Manhattan and they came in to do their thing. I am amazing at their systematic fashion to moving. They were here early, packed up everything with appropriate labels for the move the following day. I was just watching the efficency of the guys. The following day, they were just as organized. Got there early, moved everything out and moved everything in...carefully and thoughtfully. I was very happy with the service they provided and although, it was relatively costly (2k), I felt I got my money's worth. No frustrations and they put everything into their appropriate places. All I had to do was open boxes and unload. THey were already in the right rooms.

My brother used this company to move his home from new york to riverview florida. He had no issues with them. after researching other moving companies in long island he went with Molloy Bros. the price was right and everything was delivered on time and without any issues.
Use these guys if you want to get ripped off. After they came and did an estimate of $4400 for our one bedroom apartment in Hoboken we decided to go with them. The estimate was based on the estimated weight of the stuff we would have. We thought this was fine as it was an estimate and they assu ...Morered us that they would provide us with the actual weight when everything is loaded into the truck. At which time we would receive a refund if the weight came in lower. They sent us a contract and we signed everything based on what we were told and the content of the contract. Everything was packed and moved. However when it arrived, there were numerous items broken, damaged, and missing. Worst of all, the weight came in lower, over 800 pounds lower and they never gave us a refund. The gave us the run around and told us we signed a contract that was not bound by weight even though 5 people that work for them told us we would get a refund if the weight was lower. All they kept saying was that we signed a contract that was not bound by weight. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE THIEVES AND THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!
LIARS & HORRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. When the agent from Molloy Bros, Marie, came to do our moving estimate she said that we would only be billed for the actual weight of our items. It turns out our shipment was 1000 pounds less than her estimate. However, we are now being told that we will n ...Moreot be getting a refund because the agent Lora either deliberately or out of sheer incompetence, gave us the wrong contract. This despite the fact that we were told numerous times by Marie, Lora, and the actual moving guys that we would be getting a refund due to the difference in weight. We've called everyone to correct this issue, including Mayflower, and keep getting the run around. I will be telling everyone I know NOT to ever use your services!
Edited Jan. 6, 2015: The refund check arrived the day after the original review was posted. The star rating is upgraded to 3 from 1 because they followed through in the end. It took a month for the check to be mailed and the office tried to make us feel like they were doing us a favor. Overall ...More: If you've got stuff that's delicate, fragile or old, they will take care of it. In terms of dinnerware, not a single plate or cup got broken. In a previous move with a different company, three dinner plates bit the dust. if you want quality on-the-ground movers and don't mind dealing with a frustrating front office, then go for it. --- Original, Jan. 4, 2015. My husband and I recently moved from New York to Nashville. It was our third long haul move in three years. We've used different movers each time and have not had an experience before Molloy Brothers that warranted a negative review. It needs to be noted that the men who came to the apartment in both locations were friendly, careful, efficient -- everything you want in movers. Both sets took great care with a 250-year old dresser. Arrived without a scratch. The problem is with the office and scheduling staff. They are unhelpful, unresponsive and intentionally deceptive. We opted for the crate option versus the truck move because there was less of a delivery range. We were on a schedule due to changing jobs. They chose the delivery date; it worked for us so we agreed. The representative who came to the apartment and the account representative preached that if the cargo arrived after the contractual delivery date they would refund $100 per day. My credit card was charged the full amount five days after pick up -- a week before the delivery-- as part of the agreement. The day before the delivery date the account representative, Jade, was unable to tell us the whereabouts of the crates. It was not in Tennessee; they didn't know when it would be delivered or if they would be able to make the delivery date. On the day, it was hour by hour, but they still didn't know where it was or when it would be delivered. In short, it was two days late and the office was rude and evasive. One even began rattling incoherently about Superstorm Sandy in 2012 to evade my questions about the location of my stuff. The discount was not received because they said the week following the late delivery that there was a weight minimum and we didn't meet that weight. There was no mention of weight minimum in the run up to the move. I had to chase Jeanne, possibly the accounting manager, for two days to even get her on the phone. She did not follow through on calls or emails as promised. Jeanne said they would refund the $200 "as a gesture of goodwill." It did not happen and I never heard from her again. I cut my losses and will also be reviewing at the BBB. The physical movers are great. The office and schedulers are evasive and deceptive.
