buyers in aware, i used google reviews with their high rating to choose to work with this company, but now i am seeing some other users with similar experiences with me, follow their advice, use verified user reviews from yelp. See below for my personal experience: This company is a nightmare t ...Moreo work with from the get go. First of all, it took me a long time to get to talk to anyone by calling their number. Finally once I was able to schedule a pick up, the movers showed up to my storage unit, did not have enough space on their truck, even though I had another moving company deposit my materials neatly in the storage unit which means i know the exact dimensions of my belongings. So then they had to schedule a second pick up. Both times the movers are incredibly rude and unprofessional. You'll never figure out what you stored because they took horrible photos, rendering their per item delivery system completely useless. Worst of all, they definitely lied about their pricing. Based on the dimension in my storage unit, I should've been charged less than half of what they actually charged me. Finally, 6 months later, i scheduled a full delivery back to my new address. The movers lost half of my design within reach sofa, all the legs of my dining room chairs, all the pegs to my two designer bed frames, and one of the movers insisted on dragging the first piece of my furniture from the front door all the way through the building to my unit, which means he literally shaved off an inch off of one part of my near new (only used for a year) designer furniture, leaving wood shavings all over the building and damages to the front of the building. I thought they were professional and only saw this when he was about done dragging this first piece of furniture to the unit, shockingly but politely asked him to be careful, to which he was incredibly rude and refused to not cause damages to both my furniture and the building. Both movers very nonchalantly told me it doesn't matter if they completely destroy all my belongings and cause severe damages to the building, that i can file a claim. The customer service line that i called immediately was not helpful, and no one even contacted the movers to ask them to be professional. I have used pretty much most of the well known storage facilities and companies in the bay area, and every company has been awesome and careful and very professional, except for Make Space. If you'd like all your things destroyed or go missing, be treated rudely the entire time and pay twice the price you would anywhere else, this is a great company for you. In addition, looking at the reviews below, it looks like they will pay 60 cent per pound for my damaged and missing designer furniture?!

Incredible pickup experience. I've yet to have a delivery so I can't speak to the state my items will be returned in, but the initial pickup was the most painless moving experience I've ever had. Angel, Abdullah and Louis were great! I'm moving out of the city and storing my entire apartment fo ...Morer a few months. Even with 50+ items in my inventory, the team moved my items out of my room in under 20 minutes, even with 2 flights of stairs. They carefully packed and wrapped all my furniture items to protect them in the move. Incredibly efficient and professional staff. I'll have to see how my items are returned and if they are damaged like other reviewers have mentioned, but so far it's been a positive experience. Removing 1 star for: -Many of the photos of my inventory are missing, which is somewhat suspicious and worrisome -Difficult to get in contact with MakeSpace support (similar to other reviewers) -The moving team caused a lot of scratches/damages to our interior walls as they were moving

When they pick up your items it truly seems as though they are taking care of your things, but that is where it ends and you also see that ...More even the way things are packed actually isn't great. Four of our items were lost and a ton of our newer furniture was damaged and dragged including our sofa, cabinets, etc. Boxes came completely smashed and the movers blamed it on the folks in the storage facility. They however were also dragging our cabinets, etc. on the ground while bringing them into the home. They are not trained movers. Sweet people but they are not movers. Upon dropping off the furniture, our walls were destroyed in our NEW home and we are still finding out how much of our furniture was ruined. The legs to our bed are missing? How does that happen? I will be contacting folks on this thread who have had the same experience... it's time to sue. Furniture and homes cost too much to have a company like this around posing as a moving and storage company. Please look out for my messages... we are engaging a lawyer who would be happy to take to this on. We had the gold insurance coverage... it's ridiculous. After you file a complaint they'll give you a quote to "repair" items that are damaged. How do you repair a sofa that has been ripped to shreds on the bottom for $70? Do not use this company. Pickup will seem great, and then you find out they have smashed your items in storage, not packed them adequately, and have dragged all of your belongings around or lost them.

Sarah was incredibly nice, helpful, responsive and knowledgeable the whole time setting up and the day of my appointment. She really went out of her way to help me with the process, especially with my contacting MakeSpace very last minute. Juan Arnold & Yovanny (and 2 others whose names I didn' ...Moret get!) handled everything for me! It was very easy and they were helpful with everything I needed disassembled and moved. They were communicative and explained all of the processes and details well. They were all so nice and respectful - they didn't make me feel creeped out being a single female alone with 5 men which is a really, really hard thing to do.

DO NOT USE THIS CROOKED COMPANY!!! The movers came so late that we missed our loading dock reservation at our apartment complex. To make matters worse, the company broke three tables, the most expensive items in storage, causing over $4,000 in damage. The movers acknowledged they broke it and wo ...Moreuld let their manager know. When their manager found out, they said the goods weren't eligible for reimbursement. When one item breaks, maybe it was fragile. When three break, the movers incorrectly wrapped them. They are also incredibly hard to get ahold of. Trying to talk to a real person about it? Good luck. Their billing system will triple bill you for monthly rent and no one will help you with it. I have moved every year for six years and have never had such an awful experience. Warn your friends.
