I have used Flat Rate three separate times now and they always provide stellar service. They move with speed and care. Mostafa's Crew did a great job moving us into our new Brooklyn apartment.

They are a fraudulent company who caused thousands of dollars of damage to my furniture including losing some of my furniture. Their claims department did not provide responses on a timely basis, most of the time no one answered the phone, they did not provide any point of contact. When they d ...Moreid respond, their General Counsel arrived on the phone - he had a threatening tone, certainly not one that was apologetic of damaging and losing extremely valuable furniture. Despite my buying coverage for damage, they did not pay enough to even cover the item they lost, not to mention the rest of the damage. This is not an ethical company. This company is EXTREMELY unprofessional. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Andy and Walli did an outstanding job moving me from New York to New Jersey . They were a professional team . They treated all the furniture pieces carefully . They wrapped everything well. We will never use Flat Rate again since the flat rate promise is a lie. In order to schedule the move, I listed out the furniture items and throughout packing tried to update our inventory. However, it was not until we were done packing the day before that I really knew how many boxes and what i ...Moretems were staying or leaving. I had emailed our dispatch and sales people to update and didn't get responses. Then the movers showed up and rather than packing stuff up they went around and checked the items compared to a list that was outdated. They were also an hour early and complained that they couldn't use the elevator. I called dispatch and said I had some extra items and they said that's fine. Then the movers said they would have to call in the extra items or I could "take care of them" and they wouldn't call it in and move the items. I said go ahead and call it in, and dispatch said it would be an ADDITIONAL $550! I said I'd move it myself and that person hung up. Then another person called and said $450. When I said forget it I'll move those items myself, dispatch said oh we'll give you 20% off or something for $350. Over the course of the day I think I talked to 6 different people. So it was either pay $500 to "Flat Rate" or $300 to the movers. An absolute nightmare move. The movers were also wasteful in packing using too much paper padding rather than blankets.

when i was called to get a quote, i got hung up on?? like how professional.. so now i know better than to trust my items with them if they can't even do the bare minimum of giving me a quote
