Extra Space Storage (Open Now)

A few weeks back I got a small unit here (5'x5'x4') to shove some stuff that I needed to store after a move and consolidating homes. There are about four options for storage all within a few blocks of each other and I wanted to choose one because that are walking distance from my home. At first, ...More I was a little unsure about Extra Space because the price for a storage locker was so much lower than comparable units in the area. Ultimately, I dropped by to view the unit in person because the height was not listed online, and to ask a few questions confirming access to the space. The folks in the office were excellent in showing me units available and talking about options with me. I was all set to go only 20 minutes after arriving. The space is new and clean which makes it nice but there are a few drawbacks. Firstly, access hours are relatively limited and it can be quite busy during that time. The storage lockers are actually set on top of 8' high units and require a step ladder to access them. There is only one ladder available on each floor which means if someone else is using it you may have to wait. I did have an issue with this recently when I came to drop off one box just before closing and wasn't able to do so because someone else was using the ladder and having a fight about it at the same time. Certainly quite colorful. Overall, this is a good deal for storage space and comparable or better than anything else in the area.

Very, very rude. Especially the supervisor woman, luckily it seems she was removed to a different location - she was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Rats tore through and destroyed most of my clothing, ate through my paints and artwork over a period of over 9 months. I tried to inform her that th ...Moreere are rats or mice in the building, that's when she started disliking me and making mean comments about me when I came, making judgments based on my clothing, insinuated that I am homeless so I don't have a right to hygienic standards!! This is extremely RUDE and for this person to judge me and make assumptions in the middle of a pandemic when the storage industry made record profits due to people having to relocate is just ridiculous!! Btw I am NOT homeless and it was rude of you to make that assumption. I will never again give any money to this company! Rude, disrespectful and disgusting!
