SCAM!!! After being a customer for only three months, I received a notice than my monthly storage rate will increase in 30 days at a rate that is 62% higher than my current rate... WHAT??? A 62% increase is ridiculously unreasonable! Is this even legal? It's certainly unethical!!! I called the ...Morecompany to express my dismay and frustration and asked them to review and assess their practice and charge a lower more reasonable increase after being their customer for only 3 months. This has been a very unsettling customer service experience as I was told on the phone with one of their sales reps when booking this space that the rate is good for at least 12 months. Therefore, upon receiving this rate increase notice feels like a bait and switch, where I as the customer is being unfairly taking advantage of. The district manager called me back and said it's the company's policy and there's nothing they can do. So, now I'm frantically looking for a new storage place and a van to move my stuff from. This is a horror, so please future renters beware and get your agree rental rate in writing for the terms that you want. Don't get tricked like me.
