Not sure if they're deceitful or incompetent, or both. I moved my stuff into storage here and within three months my payment went up 13.5%. I called and was told it had to do with market conditions and demand etc and that I was notified in advance. Ok, I get you have a business to run and pri ...Moreces can go up, but don't justify a steep increase so soon by saying you had notified me (when I don't believe you had). I had asked for a copy of the notification, which they send they'll send. I didn't receive anything so called back and was told they'd reach out to the specific location and ask them to send a copy.. Never got it, so I contacted the location specifically and asked for a copy of whatever notification they told me they already sent me (twice). I still haven't received anything. The only reason I gave them two stars instead of one is b/c the people I have talked to are very polite. At least they sound like they care.

this review is for the hoboken location, but it seems from the other review here all the locations are the company in general are awful Here is what I just posted on yelp, BBB website and consumer affairs If you thought you had heard everything, hold onto your hat. I have been a client here f ...Moreor over ten years. First of all, you get MANY rent increases and the contract has no limitations on what amounts they can be OR how often. In fairness, they have reduced (never waived) some of my MANY increases over the years. So recently I shopped around to other storage places in Hoboken and they are all cheaper for my size than what I pay here. Then I checked the extra space online site and I see new customers can get the same size unit as mine for $100 less than I pay per month. So, I called the head office to deal with a district manager (bc the onsite manager, Alba is absolutely useless). So, as I guessed, they wouldn't do the right thing and drop my rate by $100 or even half that to treat a ten year client the same as a brand new client. not surprised. So, I told them I made a reservation under my husbands name and he would rent a new unit and I'd move ALL my stuff into it. Guess what ?? They said they would not let my husband rent a unit, even though he is new customer. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? They canceled the online res we had set up.. which I am fairly sure is a better business bureau issue, which is what I will be filing next. So, do yourself a favor. Don't rent here. If they treat a ten year client this way, And intentionally pick and chose who they allow to have their online offers what will they do to you ?

Does this place close at 6 or 545 ..the lady's start rushing you out at 530 ..It makes no sense to advertise open until 6 and close everything at 545 ..sounds like false advertisement. Also why does this place close so early compared to Elizabeth and other location that allow you to utilize your ...More space until 10 ..they need to make some changes

Rude employees. Does not honor what's advertised. Poor opening hours. People sleeping in cars blocking the gates, staff doesn't care. Not enough carts. Overall, avoid - there's much better options nearby.
