Initially this was opened as a CubeSmart and then within less than a month switched to a Columbia. I was one of the first occupants. Not too many complaints until today when the snow melted and caused a huge leak in front of my unit and was leaking under the door. Luckily I was home and rush ...Moreed over and moved everything to the back of the unit but upon closer inspection of the ceiling it was clear to me that this roof has been leaking for months. The flat steel roof girders right above my unit are all rusted and that did not happen in the last few days. Also in the front of the inside of my unit I see the telltale signs of water from prior leaks having dried and left stains. The girders where there are no leaks, clean as a whistle, where there are leaks, which appear in numerous spots, lots and lots of rust. This place just opened a year ago and suspiciously the painted the floors after 6 months. So there has been a leak for I don't know how long and they have neglected to tell me, playing the odds that nothing was getting ruined in my unit until they could not hide it with the amount of water coming down today. They had one poor young woman dealing with this. One mop, no real tarps, an office type garbage can to catch the dripping. Ridiculous. I was told the manager would be in later, which was not true, it was a district manager who she called immediately who offered to waive the fee to move me to a another unit(I have no idea what the fee covers as the district manager didn't call me but had the woman at the place call me when I distinctly said I wanted a call from the manager. They owe me a new unit with no rust above it, they have to pay for someone to move my stuff, and I believe for the deception some months of free rent are due. If not I will want my year of rent back and I will move somewhere else. I will update this with whatever they decide to do. UPDATE: Though we will continue to disagree on the age of the leak, I was able to have a discussion with the Company President on this and it was settled amicably. Still wish it could have been done so without having to reach this level.

Every time I visit my storage locker, this place is flooded and reeks of mildew. They do not even open the doors to vent the smell. Just when I thought it could not get any worse, now all of my belongings are covered with brown dirt and large chunks of insulation because they recently did ro ...Moreofing work. They do not even provide courtesy dumpters for all the stuff that they damaged and are no longer usable. Worst storage faciity that I ever rented at.
