Capital City Movers NYC just completed our full pack and move from Manhattan to Brooklyn this week, and I couldn't have been more pleased with their service! From my very initial contact with Vlad, our move consultant (who was AMAZING at followthrough, patient, kind, and SUPER responsive via tex ...Moret/call/email) for our quote estimate, to the actual pack day and move day (two separate days) -- my entire experience was outstanding. Boyo, Omar, Mark and the whole crew were so friendly and efficient, and worked with constraints outside of our control (out-of-service service elevators, strict elevator reservation timeframes, etc.) with grace and professionalism. Everything went off without a hitch, and the Capital City Movers was honestly so wonderful. I recommend giving them a call, and make sure you parse out the reviews that are apparently misplaced for another moving company in Florida with the same name!

I chose Capital City Movers based on numerous positive reviews on a mom Facebook group. As I have a two year old, I chose to hire them for packing and moving from NYC to Westchester. I only have a few gripes and think I would go with them again. Their packing service was excellent! Everything wa ...Mores wrapped well, nothing that was packed broke, and each box was not overstuffed. In terms of moving, I had some small damage to furniture and it could have have prevented if it was wrapped in blankets better. Tape residue from the packing tape was left on my tv console (they got that out) and the back of my daughter's bookcase. In addition, there was a changing pad holder on top of a dresser that is screwed in the back of the dresser. Because it wasnt unscrewed when they moved it, it slid around a bit and broke the wood off near screw. Luckily that was on the back as well. Overall, minor problems in the grand scheme.

I can't recommend this moving service. The guys were punctual and mostly congenial, but didn't move furniture with care. Several furniture pieces were damaged and broken. I have much better experience with moves where friends who were not professional movers moved my furniture. I think the crew ...Moreat Capital City Movers did not perform as a professional moving outfit should have, they handled furniture badly and caused furniture to be damaged and broken.

I just used capital city movers to pack up my Manhattan apartment to go to temporary storage. I spoke with Steve on the phone to coordinate everything. I have a large two bedroom and Voyo, Omar, Mark, Isaija and Ivan came and did a fantastic job. They came the first day to pack everything up but ...More left out our bed, sofa and TV and lamps as we were still staying that night. They were speedy and thoughtful and I was very pleased with their service. They will be moving my stuff from storage to a new apartment in a few weeks and made sure to keep the same team to finish the process. I have been very pleased working with them.
