I hired Approved Moving & Storage (a North American agent) to move my 2 bedroom apartment from New York to San Francisco. They picked up my goods on October 4th and provided a delivery window from October 12th - October 25th for the goods to arrive at my apartment in San Francisco. The gentlem ...Moreen I spoke with told me "the latest your goods will arrive will be October 25th." After not hearing anything from them and repeated calls as end of the delivery window was nearing, I was told the goods would not arrive until November 5th, almost 2 weeks late. No reasonable explanation was ever provided and no one from Approved or North American was able to provide any assistance in accelerating the move or even be apologetic about what happened. Basically, seems my goods sat in NYC for over 2 weeks, and then were only moved once consolidated with 7 other moves so North American could maximize their profit. They did finally offer me $800 if I provide receipts for costs incurred due to the delay - but the move cost way over $7,000 and all I really wanted was to get my stuff as soon as possible. I also never heard back from the gentlemen that actually "sold" me on Approved after repeated e-mails. My family ended up living out of a suitcase for almost a month in San Francisco in an empty apartment because of the ineptitude and poor service provided by Approved and North American. Avoid at all costs!
