The staff were mostly all very nice as the other posters noted BUT some of our electrical cords and furniture were eaten by rodents, rats most likely. When I tried to collect for our expenses I got a very nice email back informing me that the policy explicitly states it doesn't cover damage from rodents and that I was on my own. Very clever. I would definitely look elsewhere.

Our stuff was water damaged while being stored here. Their contract says they're not responsible for items damaged while in storage. Guess they knew something they weren't telling us.
I shake my head at the level of service I received when I came to pay my account last month. I had come back expecting the same level of smooth service I got when I signed up. Unfortunately they switched over to a new system just a month ago and I happened to be the first customer who was paying ...More a year in advance. Now when I asked to pay for the year I had to clarify: Desk person: You want to pay for the rest of the year? *proceeds to count several months on her fingers* Me: No. I said I want to pay for a FULL year. *in which I proceeded to put up fingers corresponding to 12* BUT I also had referred someone to use this place the previous year and was told I can still get the $50 credit when I renewed my contract. So I asked if that was still valid. The woman said if it's mentioned in the old files it will be. Low and behold it was. I was entitled to my $50 referral credit.Fantastic, as paying 12 months in advance is pretty pricey. Here's the kicker though, I'm told that after I pay the full 12 months THEN I'll receive my credit... Well that sounded fishy as hell. So you'll deduct the full amount from my credit card and then give me $50 back? Yes, was the response I got. I said fine, as long as I didn't get screwed on the credit. So I was charged and then she gave me some print out saying she wasn't sure if the $50 credit kicked in that I should call and talk to the manager during the week during normal business hours. Really? I do not live in the state of NY. If you guys mess up on my credit how would you know what credit card needs to be reimbursed. More importantly why do I need to contact you about a mistake you know you probably made. It's super easy to charge me then it should be just as easy to credit accounts as your flyers advertise. This place seemed like such a good deal in the beginning but they in effect screwed me over on the credit they promised me. If it wasn't for the fact I plan on leaving the country in another year I would have taken my stuff out and be done with this place. I was extremely disappointed with giving them repeat business as they're not well equipped to handle customers who pay in advance.
While this storage facility is reasonably priced, I was very upset to find my unit infested with cockroaches after storing things for the summer. Several of the bugs were dead, but they can still lay eggs and the thought of my stuff being contaminated is disgusting. Not a clean facility.
Not sure why the reviews for this location is so negative. I've had nothing but wonderful customer service from the entire staff here. Every time I've needed anything, everyone, from the reception/office manager, to the elevator dispatcher were nothing but kind and friendly to me. Great price ...Mores for storage and super friendly service and a great location with easy access makes this the best storage location I've ever used!
