Was scammed. Used credit card to pay for my transaction. The machine said my transaction was approved. The attendant said the register did not receive it. I swiped again and was told the same thing. I checked my bank app and sure enough 2 transactions were processing. I showed it to them. I call ...Moreed my bank and they heard the representative tell them that the 2nd transaction was declined because it was a duplicate but the first one went through. They were adamant and would not give me my card unless I paid. The person I was with had cash and we decided to pay. My bank said I could file a fraud complaint but not until the transaction was posted- the next day. When we asked for a receipt for the cash payment the declined-until the person I was with yelled and cursed. They were then 'able' to give is the receipt. In the process of filing the fraud complaint. Incidentally, another customer who was picking up her car brought in her paid receipt and they said she didn't pay. She had the proof on her hand. They harassed her as well. Shame on ICON PARKING for this unethical, illegal running of your business. I will be filing a legal complaint. One star is too much.

Go elsewhere. Would not reccomend. I pay monthly parking here and a man stood in front of my car and would not let me enter the garage bc I was in a Rental car that "did not have my monthly parking sticker on it." Additionally, once I insisted that I will park there because I PAY FOR A MONTHLY S ...MorePOT, he started making comments as I filled out the paper with my name for the temporary paper ticket that the name I wrote on the paper "probably did not even match the name on file for that account."after digging through the office rolodex he found my parking paper WITH MY NAME ON IT and walks out feeling like an idiot saying, " Well I don't care." Save your money. I have paid for monthly parking here and the first time I drove back into the state to park my car after paying it monthly for a bit and not using it for. Short period of time I was even told I no longer "had a spot there" which the manager on duty found in the system again magically the next day when I complained and showed I was billed. Strange. According to icon you have a spot until you cancel in writing. You are also aloud to drive a rental car sometimes and have a temporary pass. This garage is a pain and the english is very little here. Anytime it is a new employee or anything other than your car and an everyday parking, you will have a problem. I would reccomend another garage. These things should not be happening on an autopay monthly account for years. Not good.
Do NOT book a monthly spot here. The management is truly awful. They raised my spot by $100 without explanation. They called, and I understand times are hard. I let it go. Then they did it by ANOTHER $100 the next month. When I called, they said they raised it but not enough people left so they ...Moreraised it more. This is after I paid $1,500 during the pandemic WHEN I WAS NOT EVEN IN THE CITY. I didn't cancel because I know times were hard. Apparently, loyalty is not something that is honored anyway. On top of that, the management is rude and condescending. Also, they leave the cars with the windows open and the keys in the car. My EZPass was stolen and used for two weeks before I noticed because they fully depleted my account. They dismissed it and did not even try to apologize for that. Highly recommend looking literally anywhere else.

We prepaid for parking at an Icon garage near an event at Madison Square Garden. When we arrived at the garage we were told they were full. The attendant was not at all compassionate about us having prepaid. So far customer service has not responded to an email or a call about the incident. ...MoreIf you promise "guaranteed" parking with prepaid, you must guarantee the parking! Of course, going elsewhere at the last minute when we had trusted Icon cost us even more because we had to accept the rate at whatever garage was open and it caused us to be late.
Cheapest marking in the area, prepaid online with the spothero site. $24 on a weeknight for 5 hours. Note they close at 10pm. Overnight ok, but don't be late!
